Face to face service key to online success
In an increasingly virtual world, face to face service remains critical to Nambour company Morningstar Digital’s future.
Having launched over 50 websites in the past 12 months the company utilises a well-tuned process that delivers tangible results and value for money for clients.
“Our web developers and UX designers work virtually,” said director Michael Gibson. “But our new office in Whalley Chambers is part of a growth strategy. The office is not for our operational team. It’s about improving our client experience. We love to meet our customers face to face.”
Launched in 2017 with a simple mission to help local businesses achieve their online goals, Morningstar Digital has come a long way. “Our websites are fully custom-designed (no templates) and we offer free mock-ups. As a result, we are very busy,” said Michael.
Lately the company has attracted the attention of bigger players — becoming a white label provider to major marketing agencies and working with Australian Stock Exchange-listed corporations and an international Non-Governmental Organisation.
“Still, we remain grateful for the support of local businesses who gladly took a chance on us,” said Michael. “Our success is the result of the collective effort and hard work of our team members over the years.”
Fellow Director Alex Carr said despite the rapid growth their services remained affordable.

“To maintain the quality of service we offer we’re always looking to utilise the best tools and stay up to date with the latest trends in the industry.”
On a local level, last year the office teamed up with Street Art Nambour to have a mural painted on the interior wall.
“It was a lovely welcome to town and a way to invite the character and vibrance of Nambour into our office,” said Michael. “We chose Nambour for its thriving arts community and emerging entrepreneurship.”
As a way of giving back, Morningstar Digital sponsors the Sunshine Coast District Ladies Lawn Bowls Association and has been working with the Street Art Nambour project.
Thriving despite the Covid pandemic, Morningstar looks forward to an even brighter 2021. “We remain committed to our goal of assisting local businesses by means of quality service, reasonable pricing and remarkable customer experience,” said Alex.
